Russia held elections to all 450 seats of the State Duma over three days in September 2026, the first since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Preliminary official results gave United Russia about 57-58% of the party-list vote and a large constitutional majority, with the Communist Party, LDPR, New People and A Just Russia also entering parliament. Independent observers described the vote as tightly controlled. Voting took place amid continuing war and Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian regions. The election confirmed the Kremlin's control of the legislature in wartime.
